Jump'In Leather Curb Bit for Horse

Composition: Leather lined with nylon.

Important note to our customers: leather bits are not guaranteed against bites, even from the first use.

Effect: The 2-ring bit is the simplest in action, both for the rider and in the horse's mouth. The large rings allow for better framing of the horse in work. The Jump'In leather bits are very soft and comfortable for the horse. Unlike stainless steel, Sweet Iron, or other alloys, leather avoids too cold a contact.

Usage advice: The flat leather mouthpiece allows for the purest possible contact as it equates to skin-on-skin contact. The leather will soften significantly in the horse's mouth and will establish a relationship of total trust between the rider's hand, the bit, and the horse.

Maintenance advice: Rinse the bit well after each use to limit the buildup of residues and prevent discomfort for your horse. Oil the leather with a vegetable oil (Caution: do not use beef tallow or other synthetic oils) to maintain a soft and pleasant contact for your horse.
