German reins in 19 mm canvas and 16 mm smooth leather. German reins feature two snap hooks and a removable leather strap loop with D-ring. German reins feature stainless steel buckles. The purpose of German reins is to achieve a good head position. If the head lifts too high, German reins will increase the pressure on the bit. If the horse gives away, the pressure on the bit will decrease.
