Pommeau

The plastic pommel, combined with the special layers of the structure saddle, ensures freedom of the withers and a stable connection of the left and right sides of a treeless saddle.

The pommel is easily interchangeable and must be adjusted to the horse's back. There are 5 pommel sizes available. A correctly adjusted pommel guarantees freedom of the withers.
The best way to determine the correct size is to consult an EDIX® dealer first. Telephone advice, photo images or a fitting consultation will help you determine the right size. If in doubt, it's best to order an extra size and simply try it on.

Some time after using a treeless saddle for the first time (under the influence of proper training combined with increased freedom of movement), your horse's musculature will increase and a larger pommel may be required.

XS red Extra half-quarter size

S blue Quarter size

M gray Quarter size (standard on EDIX® saddles)

L green Full quarter size

XL orange Extra full quarter size

Pommels are available with and without horn. If you prefer a pommel with horn, you can choose from brown or black leather and nubuck or buffalo leather.
